Lara Dien lives and works in Central Florida. She is a member of RWA and CFRW
(Central Florida Romance Writers). She writes romantic suspense novels and
erotic romance short stories and novellas -- partly because any time she tries to
write anything longer than a short story, people (in the stories) start dying. A
Scorpio, she prefers to blame that on her birthday rather than childhood trauma.
Bio:
Born in Chicago, Lara has lived in the Orlando area long enough to get over her
fear of both mice and hurricanes. She holds a degree in international affairs (that
should have been her first clue) from Rollins College, although not under this
name, so don't bother looking. She also holds a law degree from Case Western
Reserve University, although they would probably prefer to imagine her as writing
legal briefs instead of romance novels. That's the handy thing about a
pseudonym -- it keeps the rest of the people in your life comfortably deluded
about what you're really thinking.
Most often heard question about her writing: and just how (wink, wink) do you do
your research? Most often given response: you'd be surprised at how easy it is to
find information on killing people. It constantly amazes me how people will ask
romance writers about their love lives ....
